 Shadowpurr-r-rPress is the Branding Publisher of How-to Books on compiling Family Histories by Alice G. Duckett, Founder & Author. Shadowpurr-r-rPress received its name by way of "Shadow", a "Writing Cat", owned by the Author.

Alice G. Duckett participates in 50-55 writer's related events, programs, book signings, and meetings each year. She began speaking, presenting and promoting her first book in Dec. 2006 with a full yearly schedule of Events in 2007. Her first book, "Digging From Attics To Basements" encourages children and families to work together discovering Family History. In Dec. 2009 Alice introduced her second book, "One Step At A Time", and in Jan. 2010 she began promoting the new book to encourage children in problem-solving. During 2007-2010 Alice spoke to library groups, book clubs, study clubs, civic organizations, church groups, senior's groups, family reunions, library summer reading programs, school classes, genealogy-historical socieites, women's ministries, and at book stores. Alice has programs for all ages on a number of different topics. By the end of 2010 she will have completed more than 200 writing-book related Events.
